Megan Kate Ward most recently directed Twelve Angry Jurors adapated from Reginal Rose's Twelve Angry Men for Voice for Voiceless Theatre.

Other directing credits include Maple & Vine by Jordan Harrison and Fool For Love by Sam Shepard for CoHo Productions, 99 Ways to Fuck a Swan by Kim Rosentstock for Theatre Vertigo, My Name is Rachel Corrie for Three Good Friends, and Famished by Eugenia Woods for Portland Playhouse. With her company, The David Mamet School for Boys, she has produced and directed Dutchman by LeRoi Jones and the world premiere of The Bullet Round by Steven Drukman. She was assistant director to Joanna Settle on her production of Romeo & Juliet at Shakespeare on the Sound, to Kip Fagan (world premiere of Futura by Jordan Harrison), to Nancy Keystone (The 39 Steps) and to Rose Riordan (The Thugs by Adam Bock and The Pillowman) at Portland Center Stage. Also for Portland Center Stage she was the dramaturg for the American premiere of How to Disappear Completely and Never be Found by Finn Kennedy.  As the former Artistic/Literary Assistant for Portland Center Stage, she served as a festival producer for JAW: A Playwrights Festival and founded, produced, and directed PCS's monthly reading series, Now Hear This. She produces the Young Playwrights Festival for Lakewood Theatre where she workshops plays written by high school juniors and seniors with professional actors and mentor playwrights. She is a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab, a board member of Voice for Voiceless Theatre and holds a BA Honors in Drama/Theatre Arts, with an emphasis in directing, from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
